BRIDGESTONE HOSEPOWER has three branches in the Phoenix metro area. The main Phoenix Branch is a feeder branch for Mesa and Deer Valley which are smaller facilities with limited staff so they rely heavily on the main location. The main Phoenix Branch has been in existence since the early 1970s with Mesa coming along in 2000 and Deer Valley in 2006. The three locations depend on teamwork and cooperation making it a successful unit. The Phoenix market has evolved from a mid-size town in the desert (that relied heavily on the construction market) to a major metropolis with many opportunities. In addition to the construction market (and some light plant business) the Phoenix Branch services four copper mines and one gold mine. In 2016, the Phoenix Branch added an up and coming refuse truck manufacturer to their list of customers. After many years of faithfully calling on this customer, they were able to land 100% of the hose, fitting and bent tube business. This effort has added a nice boost to the branch in a commodities market that is struggling to find its footing. Steve Kramer and his three operations managers are doing a great job maximizing opportunities in this unsettled market.
